Fiverr - Freelance Service: what changed
The latest build focuses on technical improvements and a few bug fixes. Fiverr also brings its marketplace to mobile, where buyers can browse services and freelancers can manage their work on the go.
What changed
- 01Technical improvements for smoother use
Fiverr describes this release as including technical improvements, with the goal of keeping things running smoothly. For people using the app to browse freelance services or follow projects while away from a computer, a stable mobile experience can make routine tasks easier. The notes frame this as general maintenance rather than a new marketplace feature.
- 02Worth using: browse service categories
Fiverr describes a marketplace spanning more than 400 service categories, including programming and technology, graphic design, digital marketing, writing and translation, video and animation, music and audio, and business operations. Buyers can browse options and choose a freelancer whose services fit a project. The category breadth is useful when you know the task but are still comparing approaches.
- 03Worth using: follow project communication
The app description highlights communication between buyers and sellers, along with push and inbox notifications for updates. These tools can help buyers keep track of conversations and project activity away from a desktop, while freelancers can stay available to customers. Check notifications at a pace that suits your work, and use the conversation to clarify project details.
