Easy Voice Recorder: set it up right the first time
Get it from Google Play if it isn't on your phone yet, then change three settings before you start using it.
What it's for
Easy Voice Recorder captures audio such as classes, meetings, personal notes and musical ideas. On a new phone, it gives you a straightforward way to make recordings, listen back at a chosen speed and share audio through email or a messaging app.

Official listing by Digipom
Install the official Easy Voice Recorder app from Google Play, and check that Digipom is listed as the developer.
After it installs: three settings
- 01Pick an audio format
The format affects quality and file size. Choose from the available options for the recording you plan to make; Pro adds more formats on supported devices.
Look in the app's Settings for recording format - 02Set playback intervals
Custom rewind and fast-forward jumps can make it easier to review a phrase or move through familiar audio. Adjust them to match how you listen.
Look in the app's Settings for playback intervals - 03Add a home-screen shortcut
A widget or shortcut can help you begin a recording quickly for a passing idea or an upcoming meeting. Choose the option that fits your routine.
Home screen > Widgets
Path as given in the developer's help pages; menu names can differ slightly between versions and phones.
Common problem
Can't sign in? Easy Voice Recorder's description does not require an account for basic recording. Check that you installed the Digipom app from Google Play, then close and reopen it. If a Pro feature or connected service is involved, consult the app's help or contact the developer for guidance.
