Install a few apps that serve clear everyday purposes
Use this shortlist as a set of choices, not a requirement to install everything. WhatsApp Messenger is for messages and voice or video calls; Facebook is for following people, sharing posts and participating in groups. Check their account and privacy choices before restoring your usual routine. Muse from Meta is presented as a tool for delegating everyday and business tasks while keeping actions subject to your approval; read its current listing and review any proposed action before accepting it. Easy Voice Recorder provides a place for spoken notes and recordings; ask permission before recording other people and follow applicable rules. PocketBook reader - EPUB, PDF is an option for books and documents, while Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor offers design and editing tools. Start with the apps you already need, sign in one at a time, and postpone optional choices until the phone's basic setup is complete. Get these apps from Google Play. Open each listing and check the developer name, not just the icon or app title, because similar names can belong to different publishers. Read the description, compatibility information, Data safety section and any payment or subscription details before choosing Install. If you cannot confidently identify the intended listing, stop rather than choosing a similar-looking alternative. Once installed, open each app yourself and review its first-run requests. Grant access when you understand the purpose: a microphone request can be relevant when recording a voice note, but it need not be accepted merely because an app asks during its welcome screens. Use the app's own recovery or transfer instructions when you need previous content. Installing an app again does not establish that its earlier information has been restored. Keep only the apps you expect to use; you can return to Google Play later for the rest.
