Start NowWhat changed this week
These are the three changes in Muse from Meta 12.0.0.14.169 that stand out in the developer's update notes and on its Google Play listing this week.
- 01Connect business tools around a goal
The notes highlight connections for Asana, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, Klaviyo, Zoom, and Meta ad accounts, alongside business work such as marketing plans and client pitches.
- 02Link more everyday task apps
Granola and Notion join the everyday app connections highlighted in this build. You choose what Muse can access and can revoke a connector whenever you want to.
- 03Muse comes to your tablet
Muse is now available on tablets, according to this build's notes. That adds another place to use its task assistance, business connections, and approval-based approach to getting work done.
Our call on whether to update, and the link to the official Google Play listing, are on this issue's Muse from Meta page.

Tips
- Start with one business goal
Give Muse a concrete job, such as preparing a client pitch or planning marketing content, rather than a broad request to improve everything. Connect only the tools relevant to that job. Review the proposed work before approving actions, and use the activity log to keep track of what Muse has done.
- Keep shopping decisions under review
Ask Muse to compare prices or track a price drop for something you already intend to buy. Its shopping assistance can alert you when an item goes on sale and can buy on your behalf with your approval. Check the item and price carefully before giving your OK to a purchase.
- Review access as tasks change
Use the activity log to review work, and revoke a connector when you no longer want Muse to access that service. You decide which email, calendar, social, financial, or fitness information to share. Keep checking progress: Muse may be inaccurate or take unexpected actions, so intervene when a task needs correction.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. GoCompareNow is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Muse from Meta changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc. The app's Google Play page is the authority for its release notes and installation information. This guide explains the highlighted changes and offers practical suggestions for using the app's connections, approvals, and task assistance.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
If Google Play shows Open, it is not currently offering an update for that app on that device. You may already have the available build, or availability may differ during a staged rollout. Check the app's Google Play page again later rather than assuming that a release announcement means every device receives it immediately.
Can Muse spend money or cancel subscriptions for me?
Muse can buy on your behalf with your OK, and its financial assistance includes tracking expenses, auditing subscriptions, and helping cancel what you do not need. It checks with you before canceling or spending. Review each proposed action carefully, and keep checking its activity because the app may be inaccurate or take unexpected actions.
