Tips
- Choose widgets for daily information
Start with one widget that answers a regular need, such as a clock, calendar, battery indicator or weather display. Try a small size if your home screen is crowded, or a larger one when you want more information visible. The app describes multiple widget styles and sizes, so you can adjust the look without changing what the widget is for.
- Make a photo widget personal
Use a photo widget to keep a favorite image on your home screen, or choose the slideshow option described in the app listing for a rotating set of memories. The app says storage permission is required to display photos. If you use this feature, allow that access when Android asks and review your device's permission controls if you later want to change it.
- Coordinate themes and icons
Browse a theme first, then pair its widget style with custom app icons and a wallpaper that suits your taste. This can make a home screen feel more organized as well as more personal. Keep important apps easy to recognize: a coordinated appearance is most useful when the icons and widget information remain clear at a glance.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. GoCompareNow is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Color Widgets, Theme changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with AI Photo Team. The app's Google Play page is the authority for its official listing and current change information. Check that page for the latest details before installing, and use the developer name to confirm you are looking at the intended app.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play may show Open when the update is not yet offered to your account or device, including during a staged rollout. Check the app's Play page again later. If the page still shows Open, you can continue using the installed version and wait for Google Play to offer the newer build.
Does the weather widget need location access?
The app listing says location permission is required for the Weather Widget to show weather conditions. If you want that feature, grant location access when Android requests it and choose the permission option that suits you. You can still use other widget types without choosing the weather widget.
