What’s in the latest OBDocker build?
Issue 1 · Oct 13–19, 2026. This build’s notes focus on fixing known bugs and improving performance in OBDocker, a scanner for vehicle diagnostics, live data and service tasks. If Google Play offers the build, it’s worth installing now for those fixes; the details are on the next screen.

Start NowWhat changed this week
These are the three changes in OBDocker - OBD2 Car Scanner 3.2.7 that stand out in the developer's update notes and on its Google Play listing this week.
- 01Known bugs fixed
Google Play says this build fixes known bugs. OBDocker is intended for vehicle diagnostics and servicing, so the general fixes apply to an app with several practical scanning and maintenance tools.
- 02Performance improvements
The notes also highlight improved performance. OBDocker brings diagnostic scans, vehicle monitoring and service functions together, giving you one place to access the tools supported by your car.
- 03Worth using: live vehicle data
OBDocker can display real-time vehicle parameters through health, engine and dash monitoring modes. Use these views to keep an eye on the measurements your vehicle makes available.
Our call on whether to update, and the link to the official Google Play listing, are on this issue's OBDocker - OBD2 Car Scanner page.

Tips
- Start with a quick scan
Connect a compatible OBD adapter before using OBDocker’s vehicle-scanning tools. The app describes Quick Scan as a way to read and clear engine fault codes. Check that your car and adapter are supported, and use the scan results as information about the vehicle rather than assuming every system or sensor will be available.
- Choose a live-data view
Try the Health Monitor, Engine Monitor or Dash Monitor according to the readings you want to view. OBDocker says these modes show real-time parameters, engine performance or vehicle metrics. The data available varies with the sensors supported by your car, so a missing reading may simply not be supplied by its systems.
- Check service-task support
Before starting a service function, confirm that the task applies to your vehicle. OBDocker lists options including emissions pre-checks, control tests, oil resets and battery registration. The available operations depend on vehicle support, and a compatible OBD adapter is required for the app to work.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. GoCompareNow is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of OBDocker changes?
No. This is an independent editorial guide and is not affiliated with Motorsure INC. The app’s Google Play page is the authority for its official listing and release information. Google Play describes this build’s notes as bug fixes and performance improvements; consult the app page for the current information shown for your account and device.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play may show Open when the build is already available to you, or before an update is offered to your account during a staged rollout. Check the app’s Play page again later if you want to see whether the button changes. Use Google Play as the source for the version currently offered to you.
What do I need to use OBDocker?
OBDocker requires a compatible OBD adapter to work. The listing recommends several adapter families and says genuine ELM327 or ELM329-compatible adapters are among its options. Vehicle support varies: standard mode covers OBD2 or EOBD vehicles, while advanced mode is listed for selected manufacturers. Read the compatibility details before relying on a particular function.
