Start NowWhat changed this week
These are the three changes in Agoda: Cheap Flights & Hotels 14.38.0 that stand out in the developer's update notes and on its Google Play listing this week.
- 01Book flights alongside accommodation
Agoda now offers flight booking as well as accommodation reservations, bringing two major parts of trip planning into one app. Search routes and compare flight prices while arranging a place to stay.
- 02Message a property with questions
You can send a message to a property when you have a question. That gives travelers a direct way to ask about a stay while working through their booking plans.
- 03Spot homes and apartments in search
Pink stars make homes and apartments easier to recognize in search results. The visual cue can help you distinguish these options while browsing different kinds of accommodation.
Our call on whether to update, and the link to the official Google Play listing, are on this issue's Agoda: Cheap Flights & Hotels page.

Tips
- Compare routes before booking
Use Agoda’s flight search to compare prices across available routes, then review the options that fit your travel plans. The listing says the app covers domestic and international flights from more than 200 airlines and compares prices in real time. Check the route, dates, and traveler details carefully before confirming a booking.
- Review the stay details
When comparing accommodation, take time to look through the photos, map views, local information, and verified traveler reviews listed for properties. Filters can help narrow a broad set of choices to your needs and budget. If you have a question about a particular place, use the property messaging option described in the update.
- Keep booking information handy
Agoda says it can save vouchers, booking details, and maps on your device for easier check-in and print-free travel. Before setting off, open your booking information and make sure you can find the details you need. The listing also says live agents are available around the clock in multiple languages for assistance.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. GoCompareNow is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Agoda changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with agoda.com. The app’s Google Play page is the authority for the official listing and current change details. Check that page for the information shown for your account and region, and use Google Play to install the app.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play may show Open when the version available to your account is already installed. Updates can also reach people at different times through a staged rollout. Check the app’s Google Play page again later if you are expecting an update, and rely on what that page offers for your device.
Can I use Agoda to book a flight and a stay?
Agoda’s listing describes both flight booking and accommodation reservations in the app, so you can use it to look for flights and places to stay. It lists flights across domestic and international routes and accommodation such as hotels, villas, BnBs, and vacation rentals. Review each booking’s details before confirming.
