Tips
- Bookmark a place to return
Use the bookmark feature to save an Ayat, Surah, or page that you want to revisit. The app description says saved items can be opened from a bookmark file, which is useful for returning to a passage without searching through the Quran again. Keep bookmarks focused on passages you are actively studying or reading regularly.
- Choose a reading route
Pick whether to read by Surah or Juz, depending on how you prefer to organize a session. The app includes a search option for Surah number and quick links for common Surahs, so those routes can help you reach a chosen section. You can also swipe through its full-page, 13-line layout as you read.
- Set up comfortable reading
The app description mentions comfortable brightness color and screen touch as part of the reading experience. Adjust your phone's display to a level that suits your surroundings, then use the app's page view and swipe navigation. If you want to resume later, use the resume-page feature rather than trying to remember the last page.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. GoCompareNow is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Holy Quran Offline Reading changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with JedyApps. The app's Google Play page is the authority for its official listing and change information. You can check that page for the current details before installing, and use the app's listed support feature if you need help with the app itself.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play may show Open when the current build is already available to you, while an update can also arrive through a staged rollout. Check the app's Play page again later if you expected a newer build. The Play page indicates what is currently offered for your account; there is no need to reinstall just because the button says Open.
Can I read the Quran without internet access?
The app description says its Quran reading is offline and offers reading by Surah or Juz, including all 30 Juz. It also describes full-page reading and a 13-line layout. Use Google Play to install the app, then open it and choose the passage or reading route you want to use.
