Tips
- Check a local air-quality forecast
Choose a location you care about and review its current air-quality figures alongside the forecast. AirVisual describes 48-hour and seven-day air-pollution forecasts, plus weather details such as wind, temperature and humidity. Comparing those views can help you plan an outdoor activity around both conditions and pollution levels.
- Follow pollution trends over time
Open a favorite location and use the historical views to compare recent readings with longer-running patterns. AirVisual describes 48-hour history and daily averages over the past month, including information for key pollutants such as PM2.5 and ozone. Looking at a trend alongside the current reading gives more context than a single number.
- Share a city or station view
Open a city page, station page or the Live Major Cities Ranking, then tap Share or take a screenshot to create an image for social media. Check the displayed location and information before posting so the image gives viewers useful context. The new sharing option is available from those views.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. GoCompareNow is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of IQAir AirVisual changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with IQAir AG. Google Play’s app page is the authority for the official listing and release information. For the latest details about the app, check its Google Play page and confirm that the developer shown there is IQAir AG.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play can show Open when the app is already current for your account or device. Updates may also be offered in stages, so availability can differ between people. Revisit the app’s Google Play page later and check whether an update option appears; you can continue using the installed app in the meantime.
Where can I find the shareable air-quality views?
Open a city page, a station page or the Live Major Cities Ranking. The update describes tapping Share or taking a screenshot from those screens to create an image ready for social media. Check that the view shows the location you intend to share before posting it.
